Agno's "self-driving company": agents must evolve from task owners to product owners
pritisinghhhh · x · 2026-10-30
Agno founder Ashpreet Bedi lays out the idea of a "self-driving company": today agents act as task owners — humans define the work, agents execute it. For a company to become self-driving, agents must become product owners — understanding their area, spotting what needs attention, breaking work into projects and seeing it through.
Humans still set direction, define products and stay accountable, but can delegate an ongoing responsibility wholesale instead of assigning every task. Agno is practicing this internally with CompanyOS across its SDK, website, API, marketing and growth; the author notes the effort is still early.
