Elon Musk quote-shared a Microsoft AI chief Mustafa Suleyman interview clip, saying civilization would be "winning wondrously" if we're exploring the galaxy with Von Neumann probes by 2100, adding that Larry Page "has correctly predicted many things."
In the clip, Suleyman recalls meeting Larry Page in the SpaceX canteen in 2015, and explains that when DeepMind was sold to Google, an Ethics and Safety Board with independent board representation was made a condition of the acquisition, with the independent members jointly agreed by Google's side (Page, Sergey Brin, David Drummond) and DeepMind's (Demis, Shane Legg, Suleyman).
