Developer oLeonardoFrito released Director's Cut, a fully open-source ComfyUI app for filmmaking with preset-based character creation and a cinematic video studio. Demo video and GitHub download available.

- Video: MiniMax H3 with an optional OmniRef mode
- Speedup: optional SelfLift for faster generation
- Prompt enhancement: Qwen 3.5 built in
- Includes an MCP server with tools and prompt guides for compatible AI assistants
