A 51K-view video earned just $69.76 — YouTuber reveals real ad revenue math

Design/web-dev YouTuber Michal Malewicz responds to "sellout" criticism by sharing real numbers: a video with 51K views and 2,000 watch hours earned an estimated $69.76 in ad revenue — about 3 cents per watch hour.
He notes the design industry has fewer ad matches than before, making YouTube ads alone unsustainable in many niches. He refuses to pivot to pure clickbait since that would change who he is. Outside the top 1%, YouTubers likely earn far less than people assume.
