Explosion ships agent-ready NLP project templates that cut pipeline cost 20x
_inesmontani · x · 2026-10-29
Ines Montani of Explosion announced project templates for Ellf: reusable end-to-end NLP workflows that you and your agent can import and adapt — point Claude Code at a template and it scaffolds the project (label schemes, datasets, tasks, plan) automatically.
The first template comes from a real client project: replacing a team's existing LLM pipelines with Typesafe's Jev, roughly 20x cheaper to run. It's not a drop-in swap, so confident evaluation is needed to tune prompts and probabilities to match prior performance. Useful for cost-optimizing LLM pipelines or quickly standing up custom classifier training.
