Hugging Face co-founder launches Reachy Mini "Level Up": wheels, phone apps, $35 personality-swap hats

Hugging Face co-founder Thomas Wolf announced "Level Up", a new accessory set for the open-source desktop robot Reachy Mini — finally letting it move. Highlights: a $149 hoverboard you place Reachy Wireless on to drive it around from your phone while streaming its view (or run it autonomously with any AI harness); $35 hats that change its personality via an NFC reader in the head — fully open-source so you can make your own hats and behaviors; and new iOS/Android apps so no computer is needed. Over 10,000 Reachy Minis are already out in the wild, with new orders shipping in a few weeks. Naturally, the robot's first act was racing Microduck (spoiler: Reachy is faster), and Wolf notes the video is all real robots, no CGI.
