Two devs used Claude to build a browser-based PS2 emulator, TabStationToo

Two developers built TabStationToo, a browser PS2 emulator based on PCSX2 (GPL-3.0), with most code written by Claude Opus 5.5. Key workflow: a CLAUDE.md/AGENTS.md rulebook read every session (never claim something works without testing); a headless emulator build that boots the PS2 BIOS, benchmarks itself and screenshots after every change; runtime PS2-to-WebAssembly code translation validated against PCSX2's original output, plus a WebGPU graphics port; and pixel-identical checks with a log of every optimization attempt. Games like GTA San Andreas, FF XII and RE4 run at or near full speed on M1 Max/Ryzen machines. Files stay local, nothing is uploaded.
