Neuralink shared early speech restoration data showing its brain-computer interface enabling speech-to-text and voice at conversational rates for ALS participants. One participant achieved 75 WPM at a 5.8% word error rate on a 125k-word vocabulary in their first week. Thrive Capital's Dr. Nworah Ayogu called the problems Neuralink is solving "almost biblical in proportion" — the lame walking, the mute speaking.
