Mentra Launches Mentra Call: Smart Glasses Video Calls via Teams for Field Experts
caydengineer · x · 2026-10-30
Mentra introduced Mentra Call, a companion service for its Mentra Live smart glasses that turns them into a hands-free remote expert tool. Wearers can start or join a Microsoft Teams call from the glasses, sharing a live first-person camera feed so remote experts in manufacturing, HVAC, electrical and other field service roles can guide work in real time.
The flow: put on and power on the glasses, pair with a phone, pick a Teams account in Mentra Call, share the meeting link, and the expert joins via Teams to see the live feed. Every Mentra Live purchase includes one free month of Mentra Call; the author teases a full launch next week.
