Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella announced a slate of GitHub updates at GitHub Universe, redefining the SDLC for the agentic era:
- GitHub Copilot Fusion: frontier-level quality, 40% faster, at up to 77% lower cost
- Unified Copilot harness now in Foundry, a managed service for building long-running agents that reason, use tools, and get work done
- Copilot Projects: an orchestration loop for building with multiple agents across repos
Microsoft is also expanding capacity and strengthening GitHub's architecture for resilience.
