TLA-ts: a 2× faster drop-in replacement for TLC, written entirely in TypeScript
aidenybai · x · 2026-10-29
Aiden Bai released TLA-ts, a 100% TypeScript rewrite of the TLA+ model checker TLC, claiming a 2× speedup as a drop-in replacement.
The Java-based TLC is slow and unusable in the browser; TLA-ts exposes a simple check() API that takes a TLA+ module and config string and returns invariant violations with counterexample traces, and runs in the browser.
