A real-world throughput test of Baidu's newly released Unlimited-OCR-2 (open on Hugging Face): on a single GPU it processed 1456 pages of witchcraft/demon/vampire books in 12 min 32 s — nearly 2 pages per second — at a cost of about $0.75.
The author also released the accompanying script with an experimental live view (--live-port) to watch pages and recognized text stream in real time as the job runs.
