Anthropic acquires one-person biotech Mithril Medicine; anonymous founder reveals himself

On Oct 27 Anthropic disclosed it acquired Mithril Medicine, a one-person company developing treatments for two rare muscular dystrophies. Half an hour later, anonymous biotech account @ProfOak revealed he is Cody Tranbarger, the founder — an Anthropic employee who published a preclinical report on bispecific bridging antibodies for LAMA2-related muscular dystrophy (tetravalent construct roughly doubled mice's peak force and grip strength), signing off six years of anonymity with 'Gotta Cure 'Em All'. The post frames this as proof of what a real one-person AI-agent company looks like.
