Veteran iOS dev: SwiftUI and AI agents killed your moat — stop launching to an empty room
JordanMorgan10 · x · 2026-10-28
iOS developer Jordan Morgan's post "Don't Launch to an Empty Room" argues developer superpowers have depreciated:
- SwiftUI made "designers should code" real, letting designers ship polished native UI without developers;
- AI agents removed coding itself as the barrier to building software.
His conclusion: developers are still best-positioned to ship and succeed, but only if they fix their marketing blind spot. In 2026, building is no longer the moat — a dropshipper, designer, vibecoder, or another dev will obliterate your niche if you launch to an empty room.
