400 AI-Written Applications per Job Posting Spawned Open-Source Resume Screener JobScreen
HowDevelop · x · 2026-10-28
One backend job posting drew 400 applications, half one-click and most written by AI agents, all reading the same. In response, a dev built JobScreen, free and open source: paste a job description to get a scoring rubric, bulk-load PDFs/scans/Word/ZIPs, review the best candidates first with the exact resume lines behind each score, and auto-flag hidden text, private/broken GitHub repos, and dead links. It runs on DeepSeek-V4.1-Flash-1017, newly available on Nebius Token Factory, which Nebius says is a Pareto improvement over the prior version — stronger benchmarks, faster completion, shorter outputs.
