Reuters reports CXMT plans small-scale HBM3E production within two months, with current yield around 20%.
Test results show the chip performs closer to SK Hynix's previous-gen HBM3 than its HBM3E. Zephyrz9 notes it runs at 8 Gbps — between standard HBM3 (6.4 Gbps) and HBM3E (9.2 Gbps) — making it more like an enhanced HBM3.
