Decoded APK reveals X is building voice calls with Grok bot in X Chat
faraz0x · x · 2026-10-28
A decoded X for Android beta APK (12.38.0) reveals that X is building voice calls with the Grok bot inside X Chat. String resources include a "Start voice call" button, a "Grok Bot calls" notification, and mute/pause/hang-up/hold-to-talk controls. The author notes your agent ends up as a contact in your DMs that you can simply call — making X Chat the front door for the Grok bot.
