Grok Bot 1.0.0 early build reveals Shared Bots, service accounts and team workflows
XFreeze · x · 2026-10-28
An early build of Grok Bot v1.0.0 (not yet on the public download page) shows xAI pushing toward a business/team platform centered on Shared Bots, service accounts, permissions and automated workflows. Key changes: mail permissions split between reading and sending; a Shared Bots section for discovering bots shared with you; early support for team bots having their own accounts; plugin availability indicators; flight checkout with a "Book on [airline]" CTA; and a not-yet-rolled-out Obsidian vault feature for reading/saving local notes on Mac. The direction: easier org-wide distribution and management of specialized agents.
