AI amplifies the startup advantage: more hours, higher risk tolerance, less coordination
yenkel · x · 2026-10-28
yenkel argues startups have gained a huge relative advantage over incumbents from AI, because three traits all act as multipliers when coding with AI: more hours per head (more iterations), higher risk tolerance (less review, AI-written code ships sooner), and more time building vs coordinating (more of the speedup reaches users). The accompanying graphic's thesis: the multiplier is organizational. A longer post is promised.
