Picteus: open-source local app to search SD/ComfyUI outputs by prompt, LoRA, seed and workflow
shivam_dewan · reddit · 2026-10-28
Picteus is a free, open-source local desktop app (beta) that indexes your existing SD/ComfyUI output folders in place and searches them via embedded metadata — no account, upload, or subscription. Features: search/filter by prompt text, checkpoint/model, LoRA, seed and sampler settings; reads ComfyUI workflow metadata so you can filter by nodes used; plugin architecture for custom taggers and metadata readers. Honest caveats: images without embedded metadata get only basic file info, and the author is seeking feedback on indexing speed/memory for 100k+ image libraries and what would beat Eagle/FastStone.
