NVIDIA open-sources a LoRA post-training workflow to localize Nemotron with synthetic personas
NVIDIAAI · x · 2026-10-28
NVIDIA published a tech blog on post-training Nemotron to know local rules, not just local languages.
- Nemotron-Personas France/Belgium datasets provide synthetic residents grounded in regional demographics, geography and culture
- Full workflow: generate synthetic conversations from a behavior contract plus official procedure text, fine-tune Nemotron 3.5 Lightning with LoRA on NeMo, merge the adapter, evaluate on a frozen test set
- The repo ships reusable steps plus agent skills that help coding agents assemble the workflow
- Pleias uses the persona datasets in its Lamina spine-care assistant to expand beyond limited real patient cases
Includes a sizing calculator for GPU needs, training time and cost.
