Sentient (YC F26) launched Sentient OS, an open-source on-device AI that builds context from local files and messages overnight with an unlimited local LLM. Its Sidekick feature can take over on-screen tasks like forms or emails and finish them with its own cursor. Everything it learns is stored locally in plain text files users can open and edit. The first 1,000 users using code FINAL1000 get lifetime free access.
