New NYC Reliable AI meetup kicks off Nov 16 with a synthetic data focus

A new NYC meetup series on Reliable AI is launching, organized by researchers Karen Ullrich and Mark Ibrahim. The first event, November 16 in Midtown Manhattan, focuses on synthetic data — from distillation to synthetic environments — covering both its promise when real data is scarce and the distribution gap that can cause unpredictable deployment behavior.
NYU assistant professor and TMLR editor-in-chief Gautam Kamath will give a keynote. 3-minute lightning talk signups are open until Nov 6.
