Musk: robot RAM demand will exceed everything on Earth; superintelligence compute goes to deep space

Responding to an analysis of humanoid robot memory demand, Elon Musk called it a "silly analysis" and offered his own take: robots need to run on physical substrates to shape atoms, so robot RAM needs will exceed everything else on Earth — a single planned Tesla factory could absorb as much memory per year as millions of top data-center GPUs.
He added that superintelligence compute needs will vastly exceed that, but 100% of SI compute will eventually be deep space compute. "Obviously."
