Microsoft's Foundry hosted agents now have their own mailbox, identity, and appear on the org chart under their creator. Work IQ, Microsoft's workplace intelligence layer over M365, gives agents more autonomy: A2A, a remote MCP server, and REST API endpoints, usage-based billing independent of Copilot licensing, with enterprise governance controls in the admin center.
