OpenMail Launches Email API Built for AI Agents: Per-Agent Inboxes, Reputation Isolation
AIwithGhotai · x · 2026-10-27
A new startup launched OpenMail, an email API designed from the ground up for AI agents, arguing that when your SDR agent messes up, it shouldn't take your invoicing domain down with it.
Key features:
- One inbox per agent: each agent gets its own address, sending limits, and sender reputation
- Instant replies via webhook or WebSocket — no polling
- LLM-ready attachments: PDFs, CSVs, images arrive as plain text
- Sender rules: allow/block by address or domain per inbox
- Three usage modes: on-demand tool calls, arrival alerts, or fully autonomous replies
Ships with OpenClaw and Hermes plugins, plus MCP server and Claude Code support.
