Lossfunk Batch 9 wraps: Parseltongue shrinks codebases to 5% maps for AI coding agents
paraschopra · x · 2026-10-27
Lossfunk Residency founder Paras Chopra wraps up Batch 9 in Bangalore and opens rolling applications for future cohorts. Standout project: Amul is building Parseltongue, a tool that turns a large codebase into a compact map of how its parts connect — only 5% of the code's size — so AI coding agents can navigate faster and cheaper. During the residency, Amul will post-train a tiny open-weight LLM (under 100 MB RAM) that draws these maps for Rust code more accurately than today's parsers.
