mcpspan: open-source live badges showing real MCP server usage in your README
K4riw4n · reddit · 2026-10-27
mcpspan is an open-source (MIT, self-hostable) analytics tool for MCP servers that adds live README badges: calls in the last 7 days, success rate (green from 99%, red below 80%), and median response time.
Integration: one line with the SDK (TypeScript, Python, Go, C#, Java, Rust, Ruby, PHP) or a proxy in front of the server, then enable badges in Settings and paste into your README. Argument values never leave your server; badges show counts only and are off by default.
