Ojas, a BITS Pilani math and CS graduate, is working on circuitEvolve, which uses AI to accelerate analog chip design. He plans to spend the lossfunk residency building an open benchmark that compares different AI approaches to analog circuit design across many circuits and conditions, since it's currently surprisingly hard to tell which optimization algorithms and agentic systems actually work best.
