X tightens low-quality labels: one flag can kill all non-follower distribution
FinanceYF5 · x · 2026-10-27
Parts 4 and 3 of FinanceYF5's series. Low-quality and misinformation tweets face harsher limits: once flagged, non-followers see a warning and the post can't be liked, replied to, reposted, bookmarked or shared; the code doesn't specify criteria, but a single account label can wipe out all non-follower distribution. Filtering change: when candidates exceed the cap by 25%, every type is reduced proportionally by 25% — new posts no longer sink to the bottom first, which matters most for posts under 2 hours old, under 8 likes and under 500 views (most small accounts' tweets).
