Runway built most internal tools on App Studio, including a satellite-imagery location scouting app

Runway engineer Neubert reveals that most of the company's internal tools are now built in-house on App Studio after six months of use — including a video-optimized Figma clone, character creation engines, and fully functional synthesizers.
The demo centers on a location scouting app that generates satellite imagery, builds a 3D model of the landscape, and lets users capture location shots saved across the whole map for cross-referencing. Even the demo video itself was made with another app built in App Studio. CEO Cristóbal Valenzuela shared it with "This is pretty wild."
