MiniMax H3 users report voice-swap bug: two-character videos keep mixing up voices
TigerClaw305 · reddit · 2026-10-27
A Reddit user reports a recurring issue with MiniMax H3 two-character videos:
- Even with voice samples correctly assigned via <Audio 1>/<Audio 2> and (S1)/(S2) tags, Character 1 always ends up with Character 2's voice
- Swapping the audio files and assigning a different voice to the second character both failed to fix it
- The user believes MiniMax recently broke something in how it separates voice samples, making two-character dialogue scenes hard to produce
A firsthand regression report worth noting for anyone making multi-speaker videos with H3.
