Echo-3 turns 10 minutes of iPhone video into a walkable, metric-scale 3D world

SpAItial announced Echo-3, a state-of-the-art world model that turns a few minutes of phone capture into photorealistic, metric-scale 3D worlds — from a single room to multi-floor buildings and outdoor spaces, reconstructed as Gaussian Splat scenes.
Former OpenAI researcher rmbrualla tested it: 10 minutes with an iPhone turned a gorgeous craftsman house into a 3D world you can walk through.
Workflow: open the SpAItial app and slowly walk the space with on-screen coverage guides → Echo-3 generates the scene at real-world scale → explore, take measurements, and share a link that opens in any browser. Available via web app, API, and capture app today.
