tszzl tells smart young people to pick tech over medicine or teaching as AI shifts incentives
tszzl · x · 2026-10-27
Responding to concerns that socially beneficial work (medicine, teaching, academia, government) can't compete with tech pay, tszzl argues smart young people should enter tech, not medicine or teaching — calling it efficient allocation, not market failure, and claiming an AI startup is higher +EV for the world and even healthcare. Caveats: if you're genuinely obsessed with medicine or law, go do it; and unless you're a top-50 capabilities researcher, you're not meaningfully raising AI risk.
