Anthropic's S-1 reveals five-class share structure borrowing from Zuckerberg and Musk playbook
nordicinst · x · 2026-10-27
Anthropic's S-1 IPO filing is out, and beyond warnings about 'catastrophic or existential risks to humanity' it reveals an alphabet soup of share classes: stock under the letters A, E, F, N and T, two classes carrying a single vote per share and three carrying more. The dual-class structure borrows ideas from Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk to preserve founder control post-listing, as reported by Fortune and the New York Times.
