Per Anthropic's disclosed filings, between May and October 2026 it signed and amended several agreements with SpaceXAI LLC, a wholly owned SpaceX subsidiary, for NVIDIA GPU-powered compute.
- Aggregate spend of up to $120.5 billion over terms extending into 2029
- Roughly $3.1 billion per month once all capacity is delivered (expected December 2026), with different fees during ramp-up
- Initial non-cancelable periods end in January and March 2027; afterwards either party can cancel on 90 days' notice
- The poster's math: $37B a year, roughly 80% of Anthropic's current revenue — bigger than its Google and Amazon long-term deals
- Anthropic itself warns short-term compute "carries a higher cost per unit" and will "compress our operating margin"
