$2,000 iPhone Duo already showing creases and cracks two days after launch

Apple's $2,000 foldable iPhone Duo launched just two days ago and users are already reporting deep center creases, screens cracking along the hinge ('crackgate'), and white stuck-pixel lines. iFixit's teardown blames hinge-area components pressing on the display. Stress tests: 1,000 folds showed a crease; one user folded 11,500 times; CNET's machine passed 55,000 folds; Joanna Stern found 32,000 folds 'pretty much the same.' Apple has replaced most white-line devices so far.
