DexPort: a handheld interface with a real robot hand for dexterous-hand data collection
pabbeel · x · 2026-10-27
Collecting data for dexterous hands is hard: teleop needs a full setup, and adapting UMI-like portable devices to 20-dof hands is challenging.
DexPort offers a fix — a handheld interface with a real robot hand built in:
- No embodiment gap
- Records both joint state and actions
- Easy to use
