Per Anthropic's S-1 filing, the seven co-founders who left OpenAI in January 2021 each own 240M shares — about 16.9B shares combined, roughly 10% of the company. At the split-adjusted $58.90 private-round price, each stake is worth $13.7–14.4B; at a rumored $2T IPO valuation, $27–29B each. The stakes are almost perfectly equal, and the founders have pledged to give most of it away.
