ContractSim: first framework evaluating LLM negotiation over contingent natural-language contracts
xuanalogue · x · 2026-10-26
ContractSim is introduced as the first framework to quantitatively evaluate LLM negotiation over dynamic, contingent, and incomplete contracts in natural language, studied through a Customer-Supplier dynamic with private information. Unlike prior AI bargaining benchmarks focused on simple exchanges and sales, it targets time-extended contracts with arbitrary contingencies and flexible terms — a key new affordance of LLM-powered agents.
