MS-Human-700: open-source whole-body musculoskeletal model with 700 muscles lands on GitHub
memming · x · 2026-10-26
Yanan Sui's group open-sourced MS-Human-700, a whole-body human musculoskeletal modeling and control framework featuring 90 body segments, 206 joints and 700 muscle-tendon units with anatomically plausible parameters, integrated with MuJoCo. The project spans DynSyn (efficient policy learning via dynamical synergies), MPC2 (hierarchical model predictive control for zero-shot motion planning), SoftFoot (deformable contact dynamics), QFlex (value-guided flow exploration) and MoVLR (VLM-guided control). Papers, models and code are all public, targeting embodied intelligence, robotics and biomechanics research.
