Atlas demos full AI pipeline from Flux 3 concept art to rigged, animated game characters in Unreal
algo_diver · x · 2026-10-26
Atlas showcased a fully automated 3D character pipeline: Flux 3 generates concept art, Tripo 3.1 builds a high-precision 3D model, a Blender Agent refines it, and Atlas handles automatic rigging and animation before import into Unreal Engine — complete with cape cloth physics.
The standout is automatic rigging: AI-generated characters previously needed heavy manual work to actually move, but now even finger joints are handled automatically. The demo still shows foot sliding and clipping issues, but the route suggests indie game development barriers could drop faster than expected — the scarce skill becomes game design ideas, not production tech.
