Theo fires back at Opus 5.5 critics with list of 8 projects shipped in a month
Vjeux · x · 2026-10-26
Quoted with "it's been over a month since Opus 5.5 dropped and you still haven't shipped anything impressive," Theo listed what he's built since: ts-rust, a Rust rewrite of the TypeScript compiler 3x faster than the Go version; lust-lang, an alternative toolchain for a subset of Rust that compiles 100x faster; Slopalytics, a site comparing models against popular benchmarks; private projects Slophouse, fleethouse (an internal ClickHouse fed by his cliproxy), and t3os, his "perfect OS for agents" already running on 5 boxes. He also landed T3 Code improvements: search rewritten to be 4x more accurate, two-click repo clones to other machines (including .envs), a working-thread sidebar section, and live guest thread sharing.
