Pixel-city dev validates first-person mode at 16 pixels per meter without losing style
mflux · x · 2026-10-26
Developer mflux shared a feasibility check for adding a first-person mode to his AI-generated pixel-art city project: textures need to hold up close without losing the visual identity and must still run smoothly. He found a good balance at 16 pixels per meter, which retains street-level detail. Screenshots show highways, a night industrial zone, and a first-person tunnel view.
