Meta Muse tried a custom 1Password route — user insists on the official connector
altryne · x · 2026-10-26
altryne asked Meta's Muse to set up 1Password, and the assistant started down a custom-connector path, asking for an ops token to store in its own secure storage. The user declined and explicitly requested the official connector, at which point Muse switched to 1Password's official Connect flow. Lesson: with agentic setup of sensitive services, insist on the official connector instead of accepting improvised routes.
