Kimi Code CLI 2.3.2 gates agent swarms behind an explicit swarm mode
KimiDevs · x · 2026-10-25
Kimi released Kimi Code CLI 2.3.2: the agent now handles tasks directly by default instead of proactively launching subagents — delegation must be requested explicitly via your message, AGENTS.md, a skill, or an enabled multi-agent mode. Agent swarms only start when you turn on swarm mode, so swarms no longer work in kimi -p or ACP clients like Zed. The team also optimized subagent invocation in the CLI and desktop app for K3.1 Pro.
