Indie dev open-sources browserpilot to bypass Salesforce/Meta AI API fees with OCR
Own-Poet-5900 · reddit · 2026-10-25
A Reddit developer released browserpilot, a local browser-only AI app that bypasses platform API charges. He criticizes Salesforce for billing every LLM API call its AI Agents make, and instead uses OCR to read and update any CRM or messenger interface directly, skipping the API metering layer. The project is open-source on GitHub with a YouTube demo.
