UGC editing fix: define the message in ChatGPT first, then cut with CapCut's official plugin
JaynitMakwana · x · 2026-10-25
JaynitMakwana argues most UGC videos are edited backwards: the product reveal, reaction or result ends up buried seconds in, after viewers have scrolled away.
His workflow: start in ChatGPT by stating what the video must communicate, then use CapCut's official plugin to shape footage around that goal. Then three things: pull the hook to the front, cut dead pauses, and use CapCut's text/sound assets so the key moment lands. Works for product promos and creator reviews alike.
