print3d: open-source agent skill turns photos or text into Bambu Lab 3D prints
udmrzn · x · 2026-10-25
print3d (174 stars, MIT) is a Hermes Agent plugin that turns an idea, a photo, or a shop listing into a Bambu Studio project for a Bambu Lab X2D printer. The agent writes a Blender script to model the part, then print3d checks the mesh, verifies against the source photo, and slices it. It supports single/multi-part and one/two-color prints, measures fits against your own printer, and works with Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, and Gemini CLI. Demo: a clothes peg modeled from a museum photo with no CAD, scaled from a ruler beside it.
