AI trip planner redesign: code review catches accessibility regression in nav links
SeanOliver · x · 2026-10-25
A dev iterating on an AI trip planner removed status chips and per-stop map links from the day view — unbooked stops get an amber dot, details moved into tappable cards. Code review then flagged that dropping the map links left view-only and keyboard users without directions, so each stop regained a Directions link shown on tap or Tab focus. Screenshots show the before/after of a Hamburg harbor day itinerary.
